Bamboo Airways embarked on a Singapore aviation engineering partner

On February 15, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Bamboo Airways Airlines and Singapore Airlines Engineering Services - SIA Engineering (SIAEC) took place in Sam Son, Thanh Hoa.

Accordingly, SIAEC will transfer modern technologies of flight management and technology to operate workshops and aircraft parking for Bamboo Airways.

These are services that Bamboo Airways will research and deploy at airports nationwide, first of all, Van Don (Quang Ninh) and Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa) airports.

The representative of the Group said that when it became a strategic partner of Bamboo Airways, SIAEC will provide the company with activities related to in-house maintenance and out-of-field maintenance at domestic and international airports. ; aircraft engineering management services, inventory management, supply and maintenance of spare parts for B787 and A320 series aircraft and high-tech personnel training services.

The mutually agreed opportunities include and are not limited to a range of ancillary activities and services at airports in Vietnam or international destinations operated by Bamboo Airways.

In particular, Bamboo Airways can receive warehouse and logistics support directly by SIAEC or joint ventures.

"The above services are aimed at ensuring high operational safety for Bamboo Airways fleet, saving maintenance costs and effectively using available materials from both sides," he said.

According to Mr. Png Kim Chiang, General Director of SIAEC, "Aviation technology has been booming in recent years, SIAEC has also constantly upgraded itself and qualification by spending a large amount of capital to invest in invention and technology, focusing on four areas: robotics and automation, data analysis, digitalization and auxiliary manufacturing ".

The representative of SIAEC expressed his desire to support Bamboo Airways to become a 5-star standard airline, with safe, efficient and fast flight services connecting to many destinations around the world.

"The signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement marks a new beginning with two units in order to reach comprehensive cooperation in all areas of aviation", said Mr. Dang Tat Thang, Bamboo Airways General Director at the ceremony.

Accordingly, the cooperation agreement is signed with an unlimited time, in line with the strategy of modernizing and professionalizing the fleet and flight operation team of Bamboo Airways in the coming years.

Previously, Bamboo Airways and SIAEC had a process of working and implementing many projects before sharing their greater cooperation wishes.
